Timberland revamps the iconic Field Boot with an exclusive launch at Kith this Saturday. Originally debuted in 1983, the Field Boot was the first silhouette of its kind as it effortlessly combined basketball sneaker sensibilities with rugged incredibly functional boot elements. The boots were also one of the first to utilize a dual-density polyurethane sole unit, thus eliminating the laborious task of breaking boots in while simultaneously offering a lightweight comfortable option for consumers. Because of this cross-pollination of style and function, the Field Boot quickly went from the trails to the city, becoming a city favorite. Today, Kith is unveiling two Timberland Field Boot silhouettes – the classic 6” and the Tall GTX – both of which feature premium Hazel Highway leather executions. For the first time, the 6” Field Boot opts for lush suede inserts as opposed to the standard canvas option. Both models are also lined with Gore-Tex for 100-percent waterproof capabilities. Lastly, both models sit atop molded Vibram sole units equipped with Anti-Fatigue Technology for optimal responsiveness during wear. The Timberland Field Boot ‘Hazel Highway’ Pack releases exclusively at Kith this Saturday, September 3rd. Both models will be available at Kith’s Manhattan and Brooklyn locations, as well as online at KithNYC.com. The 6” Field Boot retails at $225, while the Tall GTX retails at $250.
